"The South Bay is home to the largest concentration of Japanese Americans and Japanese nationals in the mainland United States and is rich in various Nikkei groups, services, and programs. However, it has been said that there is no single "center" or centralized system or function in the South Bay Nikkei community. I hope Nikkei Collaborative provides a space for Nikkei groups to gather and get to know each other as well as exchange information. I also hope this collaborative evolve as a "hub" of the community."
